| 2020年怡保发展大蓝图失去听取民意的意义！ Posted: 03 May 2011 10:25 PM PDT  图：黄文标（左3）与A西华与行动党一行人出席2020年怡保大蓝图的对话会。行动党德彬丁宜区州议员黄文标对于2020年怡保发展大蓝图，由霹雳州财政总监拿督Jamalludin Al Amini Ahmad主持第二阶段会见抗议或提出疑问者环节的高傲和草草了事方式深表不满。 他今天与文冬区州议员A西华一起前往怡保市政厅大厦，以进行本身为此大蓝图的提问进行深入了解。但此环节提问者被当局安排为个人入场的细节，而非集体出席来一起进行讨论。霹雳州财政总监在他本人对问题要求解释时，回答的方式简直是要捍卫此大蓝图势在必行的立场，这显示此对话根本失去听取民意的意义。 而对于怡保市议会要把门牌税由全国最高的16%提升至20%，州财政总监的答复是这课题很敏感，而且当局也多年没有提升了。和对未来提升排水和道路课题对方形容这是小事所以不需要在会场费时讨论，甚至说如果民联议员如果无法解决问题人民可以选择国阵更使他感到不满。 他强调当局没有诚意讨论大蓝图课题，只志在完成提问者的疑问就收工了事，这根本是给人民错误感觉此大蓝图依据程序来进行。最后此大蓝图肯定在不公正的霹雳州议会进行通过。 | |

| திருப்திகரமான சம்பளம் வழங்குவதே நியாயம் – சார்ல்ஸ் Posted: 03 May 2011 11:27 PM PDT மூலம் :- செம்பருத்தி Wednesday, May 4, 2011 10:56 am  மலேசியத் தொழிலாளர்கள் நாட்டின் மேம்பாட்டிற்கு அயராது உழைப்பவர்கள். மலேசியாவின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு அவர்களது பங்கும் அளப்பரியது என்று கூறினால் அது மிகையாகாது. இவ்வாறு நாட்டின் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் சுபிட்சத்துக்கும் உழைத்த தொழிலாளர்களின் சம்பளம் உயர்த்தப்படாமல் இருப்பதுதான் மனதுக்கு வேதனையாக இருக்கிறது என கிள்ளான் நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் சார்ல்ஸ் சந்தியாகோ வருத்தம் தெரிவித்தார்.
தொழிலாளர் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு கடந்த வெள்ளிக்கிழமை அரசாங்கத்தின் குறைந்த பட்ச கொள்கைப் பற்றி ஒரு கலந்துரையாடலை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்ததாக கூறிய சார்ல்ஸ் அக்கலந்துரையாடலில் காலிட் சாமாட், சித்தி மரியா மஹ்முத், ஜேனிஸ் லீ உட்பட பட்டதாரிகள், தொழிற்சங்கங்கள், அரசு சார்பற்ற இயக்கங்கள், முதலாளிகள் என 30 பேர் கலந்துக் கொண்டதாகக் கூறினார். இந்த கலந்துரையாடலில் சில முக்கிய விசயங்கள் பேசப்பட்டன. அதில் குறைந்தபட்ச சம்பளத்திற்கும் ஏழ்மை நிலைக்கும் உள்ள தொடர்பு, அடிப்படை சம்பள நிர்ணயிப்பு குழுவின் பங்கு, மாற்றத்திற்கான நடவடிக்கை என்பவன அடங்கும். பலர் பல கோணங்களில் பல கருத்தை பரிமாறிக் கொண்டாலும் ஒருமித்தக் கருத்தோடு சில விஷயங்கள் முடிவெடுக்கப்பட்டன. அதில் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு குறைந்த பட்ச சம்பளம் வழங்குவதை விட திருப்திகரமான சம்பளம் வழங்குவதே நியாயம் எனவும் தொழிலாளர்களின் அடிப்படை வசதிகளும் விலைவாசியின் ஏற்றத்தின் காரணமாகவும் தற்போது வழங்கப்படும் சம்பளம் போதுமானது அல்ல. ஆகவே மாத சம்பளமாக ரிம 1500 – 2000 க்கு உட்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்பவனவும் அடங்கும் என சார்ல்ஸ் தெரிவித்தார். கடந்த 10 -15 ஆண்டுகாலமாக தொழிலாளர்கள் சம்பளத் தேக்கத்தை அடைந்துள்ளனர். அந்த காலக்கட்டத்தில் அவர்களது சம்பளம் 2 .6 % மட்டுமே உயர்ந்துள்ளது. ஆனால் விலைவாசியோ 34 % வரை பெருத்த ஏற்றம் கண்டுள்ளது என சுட்டிக் காட்டிய சார்ல்ஸ் இந்த காலக்கட்டத்தில் வாழ்க்கை செலவை சமாளிக்க பொருத்தமான சம்பளம் ரிம 1500 – 2000 தவிர, அரசாங்கம் உத்தேசித்திருப்பதுப் போல ரிம 500 – 700 அல்ல எனவும் வலியுறுத்தினார். இதில் கவலைக்குரிய நிலை என்னவென்றால், வீட்டின் கடனோ ஜி.டி.பியில் 78% வரை ஏற்றம் கண்டுள்ளது மட்டுமில்லாமல் நம் நாடு கடன் நாடாக இருப்பதற்கு 50% வீட்டின் கடன்களே காரணமாகும். இதற்கு தலையாய காரணமே தொழிலாளர்களின் சம்பளம் ரிம 500 – ரிம 700 வரை அதாவது வறுமைக் கோட்டிற்கும் கீழ் இருப்பதால்தான் ஆகும். ஆகவே, தற்போது வாழ்க்கை செலவை கருத்தில் கொண்டும் தொழிலாளர்களின் நலனை கருத்தில் கொண்டும் அவர்களுக்கு திருப்திகரமான சம்பளமாக ரிம 1500 – ரிம 2000 வரையிலான அளவில் இருப்பதை அரசாங்கம் உறுதி செய்தாக வேண்டும் என சார்ல்ஸ் கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். அப்போதுதான் தொழிலாளர்களின் வறுமையை ஒழிக்கவும் முடியும்; நாட்டை கடன் நாடாகாமல் காப்பாற்ற முடியும் என அவர் மேலும் கூறினார்.

| 2011 DAP Internship: Last Call Posted: 02 May 2011 11:40 PM PDT "...I did a 1½-month internship with Tony Pua and Dr Ong Kian Ming (UCSI lecturer, political analyst, consultant). And everything that I did within that time span felt right. It didn't matter whether I took three flights in two days between Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak. It didn't matter that I had to be at Taman Jaya station at 8 in the morning everyday to head to the many districts in Selangor, only to do the simple task of note-taking during the town hall meetings which will contribute to the Selangor Blueprint. On these days, I'll reach home at about midnight, only to have that few hours of sleep, and repeat the whole routine again.
I worked with people on the ground, learned their way of life, their morals, their culture. I heard their heartbreaking stories about how all they want is a Sibu that doesn't flood, a Kuching that has its land distributed fairly among its people, an education system that doesn't brainwash their children... I saw these people, and had this surging desire to educate the uneducated, to give jobs to the poor, to speak for the voiceless.
I felt that I would be doing injustice if I were to use my abilities and resources for myself. It just wasn't right. I want the aunts and uncles who sell fruits by the street to not have to worry whether they'll be able to make a good sale tomorrow. I want the children of these uncles and aunts to know that they have an equal opportunity to achieve their heart's desires in the future. I want UM to find its place on the world stage again. I want teachers to have pride in their work. I want Malaysia to be the place where people are proud to be a part of; a place where people will want to come home to.
