Klang, 5 Julai 2015 - YB Dr. Xavier Jayakumar, ADUN Seri Andalas dan YB Charles Santiago, Ahli Parlimen Klang hari ini membuat laporan polis menggesa siasatan dibuat ke atas 1MDB yang didedahkan oleh Wall Street Journal.

Seramai 73 orang terdiri daripada anggota PKR, DAP, PSM, Badan-badan Bukan Kerajaan dan penduduk dalam kawasan Klang telah hadir untuk membuat laporan polis

Mengedar Bubur Lambuk Di Sekitar DUN Seri Andalas Sempena Ramadhan

Klang, 4 Julai 2015 - YB Dr. Xavier Jayakumar bersama sukarelawan mengedar bubur lambuk di sekitar DUN Seri Andalas sempena Ramadhan. Sebanyak 3,000 lebih bekas bubur lambuk telah diedarkan kepada orang ramai.

Program adalah anjuran bersama Pejabat ADUN Seri Andalas bersama Angkatan Muda Keadilan Kota Raja. Turut hadir mengedar bubur lambuk adalah ketua-ketua kampung, ahli-ahli majlis dan para pemimpin setempat.

Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim was brought to Hospital Kuala Lumpur on the afternoon of 7th July to receive intensive physiotherapy treatment for his shoulder pains, monitoring of his blood pressure levels and CT scans of his kidneys.

DSAI thanked the specialist doctors and other hospital staff for their assistance and treatment. On the 12th July 7:45am he was transferred back to the Sungai Buloh prison.

Seperti yang dilakukan setiap tahun apabila tiba bulan Ramadan Al Mubarak YB Dato` Haji abdul Malik akan melakukan lawatan Hospital Besar Pulau Pinang, Lawatan ini dilakukan pada 3 Julai 2015 (Jumaat). Lawatan ini adalah untuk mengeratkan lagi hubungan di antara kerajaan Negeri dengan kaki tangan Hospital Besar Pulau Pinang di samping dapat memupuk budaya bersedekah di kalangan masyarakat bersempena bulan Ramadan Al Mubarak yang mulia ini. Ianya juga dapat memberi sedikit sinar keceriaan kepada pesakit-pesakit yang menerima rawatan di Hospital tersebut dengan adanya program lawatan sebegini.

Pada 14 Jun 2015 yang lalu, YB Dr. Xavier Jayakumar ADUN Seri Andalas telah menyampaikan sumbangan bulan Ramadhan di Program Menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubarak 1436H yg diadakan di Masjid Al-Muhsinin Kg Sg Kandis. Majlis telah diadakan selepas solat Isyak, jam 9 malam.

Sebanyak 41 buah surau di dalam DUN Seri Andalas menerima sumbangan untuk aktiviti-aktiviti sepanjang Ramadhan.

Turut hadir adalah YB Dr. Siti Mariah Mahmud, Ahli Parlimen Kota Raja, Ketua Kampung Kg Sg Kandis, Ketua Kampung Kg Teluk Menegon, Tuan Hj Ehsan, Nazir Masjid Al-Muhsinin Kg Sg Kandis, Ustaz Nasir, Nazir Masjid Al- Barakah, Ahli Majlis MBSA Zon 15 Sdra Manaf Yusuff.

Penyelaras mengucapkan setinggi penghargaan kepada semua yang terlibat dalam menjayakan program ini dan mengucapkan Selamat Menjalani Ibadah Puasa.

Anwar gets much needed treatment at HKL

Jailed PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim has been sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a much needed medical treatment.

PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil said Anwar’s family has been informed on the matter.

“We were made to understand that Anwar will be placed at a separate ward at HKL for a few days.

“He will be treated with intensive physiotherapy for his shoulder, his blood pressure monitored and they will conduct a CT Scan for his kidney,” he said in a statement today.

Fahmi added that Anwar’s wife Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (photo) was allowed to visit the former deputy premier.

This comes after the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) of MPs from across the globe has called for Anwar to be given the necessary medical treatment.

Last week Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said he was informed on Anwar’s condition and has ordered the relevant parties to act on it.

Anwar is now at Sungai Buloh prison after he was found guilty of sodomy and sentenced to five years in jail in February.

World MPs want proper medical care for Anwar

The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) of MPs from across the globe has called for jailed former opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim to be given the necessary medical treatment.

“Although the three-day IPU mission… acknowledged efforts in addressing Anwar's health problems, it urged authorities to allow follow-up care requested by doctors in early June after he underwent hospital treatment,” the union said in a statement.

IPU’s three-day mission, which included a visit to Anwar in prison, concluded on Wednesday.

The call comes amid concerns about a tumour in Anwar’s kidney.

A day before the IPU concluded its mission, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak also noted Anwar’s condition, urging the relevant authorities to ensure he receives proper medical attention.

“I take note of Anwar’s health and want the relevant authorities to ensure he receives the necessary treatment,” Najib tweeted on Tuesday.

‘Anwar isolated’

The IPU also expressed concern that Anwar is not allowed contact with other prisoners.

In addition, they urged that other charges against other MPs over Anwar’s jailing to be dropped.

“The three-member delegation from IPU's committee on the human rights of parliamentarians also call for the dismissal of charges and investigations against eight opposition MPs, including Anwar's daughter Nurul Izzah Anwar.

“Some of the MPs had taken part in demonstrations, while Nurul Izzah had been briefly arrested after criticising the judiciary during a speech in Parliament,” it said.

It added the IPU delegation is urging Malaysian authorities to ratify and implement all key international human rights treaties.

It will present a full report on the mission to IPU members in October.

Anwar Urges Muslim Democrats to Stay United

PETALING JAYA, July 3, 2015:

Rahimah Abdulrahim, the executive director of the Indonesian Habibie Centre, urged all Muslims around the world to stay united as urged by jailed Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in a message.

According to Rahimah, although Anwar was currently in prison, he still tried to provide his input on current issues concerning Muslims.

"Although behind bars, he did send a message through other people for us.

"He told us to keep strengthening Muslim democrats," she said during a preparatory meeting of the second World Forum for Muslim Democrats (WFMD) held at One World Hotel in Bandar Utama here, today.

According to Rahimah, WFMD was the brainchild of Anwar. It serves as a platform for Muslims around the world to discuss current issues concerning Islam.

Executive director of the Institute for Policy Research (IKD) Khalid Jaafar, who was also present during the meeting, said that among the topics that would be discussed during this year's forum were Islamophobia, terrorism, Muslim refugees as well as Muslim minorities living in non-Muslim countries.

Khalid said the upcoming forum would also be used as a platform for them to find a solution on the current Rohingya crisis.

"We will also be discussing about other refugees, too, such as those affected by sectarian wars as well as the political crisis in the Middle East.

The WFMD was held last year for the first time in Malaysia and saw the participation of about 300 delegates from several countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and Turkey.
